Sit back and relax, It is going to be a long post with all details and my Gisou Hair routine for natural beach waves.

For reference I have a soft, silky and healthy hair with slight natural waves. I have never colored my hair and use of heating tools is very minimal in my routine. I prefer to invest in high end products when it comes to haircare. In my experience I truly get whatever I pay for. But I also believe that these products help in appearance of hair up to a certain extent. The inner health of hair comes from healthy eating and lifestyle.

The most popular and very first product from this range is Gisou Honey Infused Hair oil ($84 for 3.4 Fl. oz/100 ml, $45 for 1.7 Fl. oz/50ml, Made in the Netherlands) and my most favorite product as well. Gisou Honey Infused Hair oil, made with Mirsalehi Honey from her family’s bee garden in the Netherlands. This hair oil can be used as a pre-styler, finisher or overnight hair treatment.

I like it best as a serum or finisher after hair wash and it works amazing giving my hair extra shine and smoothness. I apply this oil on my towel-dried hair from mid-lengths to ends and massage with fingers, it adds a non- greasy beautiful shine, softens split ends and my hair feels light and conditioned.

Formula is weightless and it absorbs instantly into my locks. My hair feels nourished and conditioned without weighing down or any greasy feel.

It comes in a beautiful luxurious glass bottle with a dropper and smells amazing. Bottle is packaged in a beautiful cardboard box with a floral design on it. Gisou Honey Infused Hair oil is available in two sizes, $84 for 100 ml, $45 for 50 ml.

Honey Infused Hair Perfume

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Perfume ($80 for 3.4 Fl. oz/100 ml, Made in the Netherlands) is another beautiful product from Gisou haircare range. It can be defined as a hair perfume which not only smells amazing but also nourishes and makes my hair soft. I have been a big fan of Byredo Hair Perfume (Reviewed Here) but now I have two favorites.

Gisou Hair Perfume smells same like Gisou Hair Oil but stronger and long lasting. It smells amazing, has a light and subtle scent, lasts longer than any other hair perfume. It doesn’t fade away and I can smell it from the moment I spray until I wash my hair in a day or two, which I love the most about it.

At first it smells strong like honey and after when that fades away I smell flowers. I would define it smells like flowers covered in honey. It is a unique, pleasant and yummy kind of smell

It comes in a beautiful glass spray bottle with a secured cap. The bottle is beautifully packaged in an acrylic box with a pink Gisou Ribbon on it.

Honey Infused Hair Wash and Conditioner

Gisou has recently launched its own hair wash and conditioner which makes this haircare line complete. This shampoo and conditioner duo is infused with Mirsalehi honey and are sulfate and silicon free.

Gisou Hair Wash ($36 for 11.5 Fl. oz/340 ml, Made in the Netherlands) has the consistency and color like honey and it lathers so much for a Sulfate free shampoo OR comparing it to any other sulfate free shampoo. I use it twice on my hair in shower followed by Gisou Conditioner ($33 for 8.1 Fl. oz/240 ml, Made in the Netherlands). I feel my hair clean, silky, soft, manageable, very well conditioned and nourished. Conditioner itself is lightweight but rich. I don’t need too much for my long hair, I apply it from mid lengths to the ends for 1 to 2 minutes.

Gisou Hair Wash and Conditioner smells clean, soft and like honey as all other products of Gisou honey infused range. Hair Wash comes in a clear pump bottle while conditioner comes in tube packaging. Value for the Price point I find these quite reasonable as compare to Oribe or Christophe Robin Shampoo and Conditioners.

Propolis Infused Texturizing Wave Spray

Gisou Propolis Infused Texturizing Wave Spray ($38 for 5.1 Fl oz/ 150 ml, Made in the Netherlands) is a texturizing wave spray which suppose to create instant beach-y wave and add volume to hair. According to description It can also be used to add texture and hold.

This spray contains alcohol and I don’t use it quite often but occasionally. As I mentioned in the start that I have slight natural waves in my hair, this spray enhances them in a decent way. This spray is lightweight and provides effortless non sticky light hold.

I personally like my hair soft to touch and don’t wanna layer with any of texturizing sprays but Gisou makes a good option, whenever I want something extra.

I apply it on damp hair and allow them to air dry OR blow dry with a diffuser, I would also use it as a pre styler before using my T3 curling wand or straightener. It smells good, not like honey but a sweet clean fragrance.

These products are available at Gisou Website where you have to pay flat $10 shipping fee. Gisou Haircare products are also available at Revolve.com where prices are little higher than original price but you can save shipping fee if it is shipped to USA.

Bottom Line:

In general I love Gisou haircare line and like almost all products I tried but Note that these reviews and thoughts are according to my hair type and texture, which I mentioned in the start of this post. Unfortunately these products are not available at any store in USA, so testing a product before buying is not possible. you have to order blindly online to make any purchase.
