The people who know me also know that I am a big fan of highlighters and keep trying different one. Today I am going to talk about two highlighters which comes on the top of my list.

See details and look at the different pictures I took to give an idea of the product. I tried to be as detailed and precise as I could. I didn’t use any extra light effects because I know the light changes the appearance of these highlighters most.

 001 Nude Glow

I have been a huge fan of Dior beauty and this product is amazing. Dior Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer Powder is super light and has the perfect luminosity. It’s more sheer than pigmented which is nice when you don’t want the super intense highlight. It looks natural with a little hint of shimmer and not frosty on the skin. It has no crazy glitter in it and stays on your skin for good about 4 to 5 hours. After that it doesn’t completely vanish what you need is just a little bit of touch up.

For me this highlighter is a must. If I am going out I sometimes put a little bit in the corner of my eyes for an extra pop. When I want complete glowy look I apply it on top of my cheekbones, temples, forehead and bridge of nose.

Below are the pics of 001 Nude Glow in different light and angles.

fullsizeoutput_918IMG_2610fullsizeoutput_919It comes in a luxurious packaging with a mini kabuki brush (which is smaller than what I use for highlighters but still good for application) and a nice little velvet bag to keep in. There is also a protected sheet inside to keep it safe from transfer to the mirror.

There are 4 new shades for this spring.

  1. 001, Nude Glow is a neutral in color which is built to suit all skin tones
  2. 002, Pink Glow is a subtle light pink rose tone
  3. 003, Golden Glow is a shimmering yellow gold shade
  4. 004, Bronzed Glow is a deep tan bronze shade

My favorite one so far is 001 Nude Glow which goes perfect with my olive medium skin tone but I am definitely going to try 002 Pink Glow because I am a lover of light rosy pink highlighters.

The shades look different in the pan depending on light reflecting on it. Of course it will look different on different skin tones and also depend on amount of highlighter you apply.

fullsizeoutput_8e9 Soleil Tan De Chanel Sheer Illuminating fluid is a cream bronzer that is not completely matte but has a luminous finish. The description for Soleil tan de Chanel is a sheer highlighting fluid that instantly brightens and even out skin tone. I am not a big fan of bronzers but this specific one is not too warm or orangey on my skin, It enhances my skin with just the right amount of warmth that looks natural.

IMG_2623This bronzer is easy to apply and blends really well. It has a subtle hint of golden/bronze shimmer that brings luminosity to the skin (nothing crazy, but the shimmer is there). I have been using it for more than two years and now totally  hooked on it.

IMG_2626I apply this product alone with my foundation brush in the same places I would apply my Dior Nude Air luminizer, the temples, forehead , cheekbones and nose bridge to give a sun-kissed dewy look, OR mix it with my Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 25 Sunscreen shade N°21 for more subtle shimmery look. I recommend applying this before powder, even though it feels like a powder once it’s blended. This bronzer does have a subtle scent, very pleasant but not overpowering.

IMG_2633The packaging is super classy same as signature of Chanel products. It comes in a good amount of 1 fl oz. (30 ml) which lasted me for more than a year. The cap of bottle completely snug fit so there is no chance of spill even in traveling.

IMG_2649The color of this product is golden bronze and slightly towards orangey which I suspect might not be flattering on very fair skin but in the summer time with a bit of tan it looks amazing. It’s a must have! Especially if you are looking for a fast bronzing application that can go anytime anywhere..
