Hello everyone, January 2018 has already passed and February is almost ending. How fast the life is these days but it is never too late to talk about beauty for me. I thought to make a list of best beauty products so far for this year 2018. It is always very hard for choosing only few items but I decided to limit myself to things I’d only started using and loved them.
ESTEE LAUDER REVITALIZING SUPREME
GLOBAL ANTI AGING MASK BOOST
To be honest this is first time I tried any moisturizing masks. I tend to go for deep cleansing ones (see my post on skin care Here ) but after getting it as a sample gift and using it on and off for a month now I am in love. Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Mask (2.5 oz for $68) is a basically a thick moisturizer that you leave on your skin for 5 minutes then gently tissue off. I like the final result with energized, rested and healthy looking skin. The one in the picture is I received as a sample gift with my Estee Lauder purchase, the tube in full size appears to be different.
BRIGHTENING REFINING MOIST CLOUD CREME
Texture is quite creamy, you don’t need much for one time application. If you really want to spend for your skin care Diorsnow brightening refining moist cloud creme worth it.
YVES SAINT LAURENT TOUCHE ECLAT
FACE HIGHLIGHTER+BLUR PRIMER
This duo has been my makeup essential for the last two moths and planning to continue it for rest of the year. The way Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch (0.1 oz for $38) highlighter pen conceals (especially under eye area) I really like it. It doesn’t have any feel of heavy concealer. It stays quite natural on my skin.
It comes in 10 different shades which almost cover for all skin tones, I use it in 1 Luminous Radiance Which is a bit towards pale pink side but as I always mention I am a lover of pink. It comes with the built in brush applicator which helps applying right amount of concealer. One thing that bothers me is its size(0.1 oz) it doesn’t last me for long (My excessive use might be the reason for that, I like it much so I use it much 🙂 ).
The upper coat of Yves Saint Laurent ‘Touche Eclat’ Blur Primer (1 oz for $52) over Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch, makes my skin smooth and glowy and ready to go out without having any foundation or BB creme. Otherwise if I have to get ready for a party it better prepare my face to apply any foundation. It makes my skin feel super smooth and makeup goes on top of it great. Not greasy, absorbs quickly, and looks great under my foundation and concealer. It comes transparent with the hint of shimmer in it for subtle glow, If you want a light primer without any specific shade this would be the choice.
In mascara I would list my all time favorite Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Waterproof Mascara ($32) I can never go wrong with it. I have lashes of normal length and It enhance my lashes without giving them any artificial look which I like the most about it. The lift and volume that you can achieve with a few quick coats of this mascara is really quite amazing.
A Chanel-exclusive ‘Snowflakes’ brush combines long and short bristles and expands lashes to their fullest. It comes in two shades 10 Noir and 20 Brun. I have it in 20 Brun, it is quite a unique shade which I don’t find in any other mascara.
How can a beauty talk end without talking about fragrance. For last couple of months the fragrances I am obsessed with are Gucci Bloom Eau De Parfumand Chloe ‘Love Story’ Eau De Parfum Gucci Bloom I bought for new year. The description of Bloom Eau de Perfum for her is in its name. Notes of natural tuberose and jasmine create an extra ordinary floral scent on the skin. Chloe Love Story is my Valentine’s Day pick.Chloe Love Story is such a delightful fragrance that entice your senses while also showcasing your unique femininity.
